Managing User Experience
This topic covers a range of issues for user experience managers, directors, and team leaders. Opportunities within the track include tutorials for new managers, workshops for existing managerial practitioners, and presentations of case studies and other research.
Topics that we intend to present include:
- team building,
- positioning,
- UCD methods,
- ROI and value metrics,
- team logistics such as accounting and HR matters,
- bridging the gap between user experience and other essential business functions.
We hope to bring together a group of like-minded managerial practitioners to elevate awareness about "The Business of Usability", to discuss current trends in user experience management, and to teach younger practitioners how to build and maintain their user experience organizations.
