The Basics

When: 8-12 June, 2009
Where: Hilton & Executive Tower Portland, Oregon, USA
Who: Over 600 user experience professionals from more than 20 countries
What: Tutorials, workshops, Experienced Practitioners program, then two and a half days packed with presentations, Idea Markets, and opportunities to network with other user experience professionals.
Specifics: The main conference registration includes two and a half days of presentations, Welcome Reception on Tuesday night, Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks on Wednesday and Thursday; Breakfast on Friday; and Dinner on Thursday night. The UPA will provide 2009 conference proceedings online free of charge. Attendees that would like a hard copy of the proceedings CD may purchase them for $30.00 each. (CD proceedings sold post conference will be $150 each)

Special conference sessions, for which you must pre-register, include: Full-day Tutorials and Workshops, include breakfast, two snacks and lunch.

The Focus for 2009

Whether people are interacting with consumer electronics, medical equipment, factory floor production lines, websites, retail stores, customer support or the architectural spaces which they inhabit every day, usability and user experience reactivation share in the common goal of making it better.

Cancellation Policy
Written refund requests will be honored if postmarked/fax dated before May 15, 2009. All refunds will be assessed a $150 administrative fee. Registrations can be transferred to another individual with an authorization letter from the original registrant. Requests must be sent to the UPA office at:
