Larry Keeley
Doblin Group
Larry Keeley is a strategic planner
who believes that most strategies are
unforgivably dull and uninspiring, and
for no good reason. He is obsessed
about cross-fertilizing strategy with the
design of products, services, and
brands to create
breakthroughs--innovations so
powerful that they reshape entire
industries. Larry has worked with a
wide variety of courageous enterprises
since 1979, among them firms like
Aetna, Amoco, Apple, Hallmark,
McDonald's, Motorola, Steelcase,
Texas Instruments, and Xerox. Larry
frequently lectures and publishes on
innovative approaches to strategy and
the use of design to transform strategy
into a more potent force. Larry is a
board member for the Institute of
Design at Illinois Institute of
Technology, where he is also an
adjunct professor teaching graduate
design strategy classes. He is a
member of the Board of Directors of
Atlanta-based Sto Corporation, a
manufacturer of advanced building
materials, and a member of the
Governing Board of Directors for
WBEZ-FM, the nation's largest public
radio station, located in Chicago. Larry
