The UPA conference is more than just presentations. Each day, there are opportunities to meet new colleagues, network with old friends and bump into a few ideas along the way.

Tuesday: Opening Receptions

The posters are the highlight of the opening reception from 6:30 - 9:30 on Tuesday night. Check in at registration then join us for food for thought and a bit of nourishment.

Before the main reception, from 5:30 - 6:30 stop in at:

• Newcomer's Reception
  A chance to ask questions, meet the conference committee and get oriented
• Chapters' Reception
  Chapter leaders and local chapter members are invited to get to know each other and meet the Directors of Chapters and Membership.

Thursday: Gala Event

This year, the conference dinner and entertainment will feature John Sweeney of the Brave New Workshop. He brings a unique brand of comedy, writing, music and improvisation to focus on usability. Get set for a hilarious, interactive evening.

Friday: Closing Reception

The conference closes on Friday, following the closing plenary and talk by Howard Rheingold, with a final reception and a light lunch. It's a last chance to catch up with that person you've been missing all week.
