Designing for a Sustainable World: World Usability Day Off to a Running Start

World Usability Day (WUD) was founded in 2005 as an initiative of the Usability Professionals' Association to ensure that services and products important to human life are easier to access and simpler to use. Each year, on the second Thursday of November (November 12), events are organized in over 43 countries around the world to raise the public's awareness, and to train professionals in the tools and issues central to good usability research, development, and practice. This year WUD kicks off in Shanghai China and wraps up in California, USA.

UPA Europe - User Experience 2009 Conference

The UPA Europe - User Experience 2009 Conference takes place in Moscow, Russia from October 26 - 27, 2009. This conference is the biggest of its kind in Russia, addressing a comprehensive range of issues concerning the fast growing usability industry in Russia and the world.

User Friendly 2009

User Friendly 2009, the 6th annual UPA China conference, will be held in Shanghai from 13-15 November 2009. This year's theme is "Design For Asia." This theme was selected as China continues to build strength in its own design capability while continuing to propel onto the world stage - a shift from "made in China" to "designed in China."
