Are you passionate about creating unique user experiences that leave people wanting nothing more from the product they are interacting with? Do you get excited about taking a raw idea and polishing it to perfection by translating it to a clean, innovative UI? Do you love to take an abstract user problem, define it, and then design an impressive solution that brings people back to your product time and again? The user experience team at WhitePages is, too, and we’re looking to add more talent to our group!
We are a close knit, collaborative team that will total five designers and we support six independent business lines. WhitePages is a top 50 website, and we’ve been profitable since our company’s incorporation ten years ago, yet we feel like a start up in how fast we move and with the number of new products that we’re developing. To be successful in our group you should have experience working with brand new product initiatives, as well as maintaining and improving existing product designs (preferably consumer facing web products); enjoy balancing multiple projects and having ownership of specific deliverables across one or more products simultaneously; and have proven experience helping to make meaningful change to user experiences early in the design process. Our team gets involved cross functionally with development and product management early in the game, and our decisions get a lot of visibility and make significant impact into the direction the product will take. Our Director reports directly to the CEO, so also enjoy support from the top down in our ability to design successful experiences. If our team sounds like one that you would like to be part of, we’d like to talk to you!
